Saif Ali Khan began his activities on Friday while reports on the actor considered for the new film Ajay Devgn Tanaaji surfaced on the Internet . According to DNA, the creators of Taanaji are in favor of Saif Ali Khan playing the antagonist in the play of the time. The character in question is Mughal's keeper Udaybhan Rathod. "Saif Ali Khan is at the top of the list of decision makers for the role of the antagonist, and apparently they are negotiating with him," says the DNA report. However, the same DNA report adds that Saif's spokesman denied such speculation. Meanwhile, Ajay Devgn will play the protagonist in Taanaji .

Saif Ali Khan and Ajay Devgn are co-stars of films such as LOC Kargil Kachche Dhaage and Omkara for which Saif won the Filmfare Award for best performance in a negative role. It is said that Taanaji would have conquered Kondana Fort but would have been killed fighting Udaybhan Rathod.
