Rajkummar Rao shared Shraddha Kapoor's first look at his upcoming horror comedy, Stree. In an Instagram story, Rajkummar shared four photos of Shraddha floating towards the camera in a dimly lit room and in full costume.

Stree is based on the urban legend of Nale Ba from 1990 Karnataka. The myth says that a witch would come knocking on people's doors at night, imitating the voice of a family member to fool those inside to open the door. Whoever opened the door would die. People started writing "Nale Ba (coming tomorrow)". on their doors to keep her away, until she comes back the next day.
