This morning, a brand new trailer from Toy Story 4 plunged the world into a burst of nostalgia and anticipation, as the latest adventure of Woody, Buzz and the gang gets closer much more now. we know what it is. Yet, as in any sequel to a legendary franchise that keeps on growing, some are wondering why Toy Story 3 was not a sufficient end to the saga that created the # 39; Pixar's feature film empire. This is the kind of question that the Internet loves to discuss and we here at CinemaBlend are ready to discuss the pros and cons ourselves.
We stand on the positive side, our own Dirk Libbey, while I, Mike Reyes, come from the opposite side of the issue. Our two arguments will be meticulously presented; but in the end, you will have a chance to tell us what you think of the existence of Toy Story 4 . Do not forget to vote in our survey and send us your detailed comments in the comments section below. Now, to give Dirk's Toy Story 4 opinions their day in the sun!

Almost from the beginning announced that there would be a Toy Story 4 voices were cries asking, "Why?" It is certainly true that the third film ended things on a powerful note, but I have never been one of those who felt that the franchise was untouchable. I am therefore excited about the potential of Toy Story 4 .
I quite like the Toy Story movies. I think they tell great stories and lots of funny characters, but honestly, a lot of Pixar things mean more to me personally or emotionally than Toy Story movies. Maybe I'm a little too old, I had almost finished high school when Toy Story came out, so I did not really grow up with the franchise. Maybe I just did not have the favorite toy that held me in the place of Buzz and Woody for Andy. Anyway, it seems that because I do not really like these movies, I'm actually more interested in another adventure with these characters. The first three films were good, so as long as the fourth one is too, I'm outgoing.
At the same time, even for people for whom the Toy Story trilogy is perfect, I still think that there is a value in Toy Story 4 . Toy Story 3 perfectly complemented an impressive trilogy of films, but Toy Story's films are characterized above all by the way they reflect the real life of the characters, and life rarely corresponds to a perfect film in three acts. structure. After you have grown and abandoned your childhood toys and started your adult life, the story does not end. Really, this is just beginning.
According to the new trailer, it would appear that Toy Story 4 was the film of "forty-something crisis" of the franchise Toy Story . . Forky is clearly a character who tries to understand who he is and what his purpose is in life. We are also seeing Woody begin to question everything he has known so far. Will he continue in the role that he has played for so long or is it time to go ahead and try different things, to live a different adventure?
As someone who is writing these words now because I asked myself very similar questions, I am certainly intrigued by the place where Toy Story 4 might go. There is always another story to tell and I am delighted to see it.

As a person who got the better of his childhood and l & # 39; When Toy Story made its debut in 1995, it can be said that movies were definitely part of my formative years as a spectator. The visual show of CG animation, mixed with some of the most recent scenarios and dialogues from an animated film of the '90s, made me damn happy as a kid. So it is on this basis of fandom that I wonder why we need another sequel Toy Story whereas the latter was quite questionable in itself.
Toy Story 2 was the bet of all the bets when it came out in 1999, but even in high school I was always with. It was a rare continuation which corresponded, if not surpbaded, to the original; and provided a beautiful ambiguous endnote. So naturally, Disney / Pixar had to go ahead and try his luck with Toy Story 3 .
It's not that I do not like Toy Story 3 it's just that it felt for me as a step back from the heights of the franchise . The most repayable factor, and the thing that really prevented me from writing it completely, is that it closed the show once and for all. And he did it in such a beautiful way that it makes me cry again when Andy talks to Bonnie about his dear old friends.
Yes, there have been specials and short films that continue the adventure of Toy Story . gang, but none of those who basically canceled the end of Toy Story 3 and they did not repeat the story beats of the entire series. We have already seen toys arguing by saying goodbye to a trusted child in Toy Story 3 and we have already experienced the back and forth between what Woody wants to do with his own life and what what he does for Andy in Toy Story 2 . But Toy Story 4 seems to be ready to start over again, and I would like Pixar to be quiet enough.
Sometimes you just need to know when to leave a series in peace, and Toy Story 4 seems to be living proof of that. Watching this trailer this morning, which featured the manipulative shortcut of using The Beach Boys' "God Only Knows", was not even enough to crack my hull. I will see it again out of curiosity, but for now, I think Toy Story 4 is a bad idea. If the studio really wanted us to know what Bo Peep was doing, she might not have had to write hastily in Toy Story 3 .
Ultimately, Toy Story 4 is happening, so the only question is whether it will resonate with a fan base that has lost it for decades. Yet you have it: both sides of the discussion have been advanced and now the floor is given to you, the public.
