When the film crew visited Udaipur for the first time, Ishaan and Janhvi began conversations with locals. The idea was to bring both actors to raise the nuances and accents of the local language. Mewari was a rarity in Hindi cinema, and Shashank Khaitan thought that it was better that both tracks of his film were well known before the start of filming.
Not only that, Ishaan went the extra mile to make his character Rajasthani (Madhu) genuine. The young actor even had his ears pierced to watch the game.
