Just two days after the extravagant reception, the Abu Jani designer duo Sandeep Khosla revealed everything that had happened when creating the glittering set of ivory and whitewash. Gold of Deepika for this special day. In ivory, the chikankari chiffon ensemble featured a long wake and was animated by a half-sari and a heavy and complex chadar like dupatta of the head. She had paired this gorgeous lehenga with a zardose, crystal and golden resham blouse, decorated with floral motifs and huge pearl tbadels. Deepika has completed her look with a pink tiered floral necklace and heavy geometric earrings in pearls, polkis and gold. The video shows how the entire outfit has been hand-embroidered with embroidery over tone on tone made by Lucknow craftswomen. Swarovski crystals with gold zardozi embroidery – the superb outfit has turned out to be quite royal, just like the newlywed couple.
In the video, the designer duo also revealed how Deepka had taken things above normal and left him several curtains to wear. They further revealed that it took more than 16,000 hours of work to create the whole.
