Madame Tussauds Delhi is about to have another occupant. The wax character of singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh will be unveiled Thursday, March 28 at the wax museum.

The statue was originally to be revealed on February 28, but was postponed as a result of the mourning caused by the terrorist attack on Pulwama.

Before the release of his figurine, Diljit shared the news with his picture on Instagram. "Tomorrow #Madametussauds Dosanjhanwala to DELHI TOMORROW Naked LOVE MY FANS @ madametussauds @ madametussaudsdelhi", he subtitled.

The actor 'Udta Punjab' had already declared that in the midst of rising tensions between India and Pakistan, he would stand by the Indian army and postpone the unveiling of his statue.

"Our soldiers are fighting hard to protect the nation, we stand by our soldiers, and in the midst of tensions throughout the country we have decided to reprogram the launch of the #MadameTussauds WAX statue, which will display new date soon

The Madame Tussauds of Delhi presents the wax statues of many Bollywood celebrities and international celebrities. The statue of Diljit will be among the following personalities: Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonu Nigam, Lady Gaga, Justin Beiber, Beckham David, Virat Kohli, Michael Jackson, among others.

The actor had also donated 300,000 rupees to the wives of the CRPF staff who lost their lives during the terrorist attack on Pulwama. He shared a snapshot of the receipt on his social media and urged his supporters to contribute to the welfare of the martyr families.
