"I did not hesitate for a moment to work with an OTT platform. I'm a big consumer of digital content, "says Jacqueline Fernandez about her first web movie. She is one of the few traditional heroines to have made the transition from cinema to the Web. The actor, who is currently shooting for the film, is excited about this new step. "It was an immediate yes from me. It is an excellent platform; as good as theatrical. Anyway, we seem to be going digital, "she adds. Excerpts.

Are you also open to web shows in the future?

Everything depends on the content. We have been making fun of it for many years. But it's really starting to be felt in the industry because of some examples. The last two years have so upset the industry that we take this very seriously. So whether it's indoor movies, digital movies or web series, for me it will have to be about the content, the character and the team to do something like that. Digital is a big space that will help us grow. This is a good time for filmmakers and actors.

In terms of content, have commercial artists now shifted to the background?

I do not think I'll ever leave commercial artists. He drove me where I am. I have always loved being part of commercial cinema and have worked with great people. But I would like to balance it now and be able to take a lot more. There was a time when I focused only on commercial films; it's about diversifying more. If I only do one type of cinema, I will not see myself growing up. I do not put it aside, I do other things too.

So, how would you summarize your trip?

I would say it's a lucky turn. There has been a lot of growth especially in recent years. I do not think I could have discovered so much about myself in another sector or job. I'm happy to have stayed there and said that's what I want to do. It took me a long time to accept it, also with people from my home. I thought it was much too difficult for me to grow up. It took a long time to understand what I was really doing or the path I had chosen. But it's a great journey of self-discovery that I hope to continue for a long time.

What were the challenges for you personally and professionally?

One of the most difficult things for me was being petrified by the camera. I've struggled for many years because I've never had formal training. I just jump straight into it. I have never really learned to befriend her. It is only now that he begins to digest, after learning a lot more – working with amazing people and giving everyone his advice on how to do it. This has helped me become a lot more comfortable.
