And the big day is here. The first film of Sridevi's daughter, Janhvi Kapoor, Dhadak is released today. Dhadak is produced by Karan Johar and features Ishaan Khatter ( Beyond The Clouds ) in front of Janhvi. The film is an adaptation of the blockbuster Marathi Sairat and it depicts the tragic story of two young lovers, whose story takes a bad turn because of the division of clbades. During the promotions of Dhadak Janhvi says that Dhadak unlike other Bollywood films, does not glorify this clbad division. "I think they (Bollywood movies) have glorified this gap a little, but I think it should be condemned and with Dhadak, we undertook to condemn it, it's a harsh reality." Apart from the main plot of the film, Dhadak also borrows songs like Zingaat de Sairat, after the release of the trailer of Dhadak on social networks, the internet has taken its liberty by making memes comparing the two movies, mostly slamming the remake. "Janhvi told the IANS news agency that the team was expecting such comparisons. but she also hoped that moviegoers would give her film a chance. "Sairat is a truly special and iconic film, but we are trying to show this story from a new angle, we just want a chance to see the film with a lot of work and honesty, "she said. 19659004] Dhadak also stars Ashutosh Rana, Kharaj Mukherjee and Aishwarya Narkar. Meanwhile, Hollywood films Skyscraper and Transylvania Hotel 3: A Monster Vacation also open their doors today. Skyscraper is directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber and presents Dwayne Johnson in the lead role. Hotel Transylvania 3 is an animated film directed by Genndy Tartakovsky.
