However, filming recently began when actors, including Janhvi Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao and Varun Sharma, made their way to the Mbadi Hills. Part of the shooting took place in Roorkee, Uttarakhand, where fans gathered in large numbers outside the filming location to see Janhvi.
Now, according to a Times Now report, Janhvi Kapoor went to a village near Agra to shoot some of the horror comedy. The film will feature Janhvi in a dual role – Roohi and Afsana. According to the report, filming took place near the Bateshwar Temple on Tuesday and a huge number of fans gathered to see the star. The place called Bateshwar is famous for its 101 temples located on the banks of the Yamuna River. Janhvi also shared a few snapshots on Instagram of the site.

The story revolves around fairies, spirits, ghosts who attack the bride and groom on their first wedding night. Written by Gautam Mehra and Mrighdeep Singh Lamba, RoohiAfza was previously titled RoohAfza. However, before the shoot started, the name was changed to RoohiAfza.
