After winning the award with his first film, Dhadak, last year, Janhvi Kapoor is about to perform for the first time at the Filmfare Awards. Janhvi also posted a video message yesterday explaining how excited she was with her performance. The actress said, "I'm so excited. I prayed so much. Everyone was asking me if the awards ceremony worried me who would win because I was nominated. But the only thing that worries me is that I play. I do not care about anything else. I am super excited. There are so many songs, so many of my favorite songs. Each song is a different mood. There are brilliant costumes and lots of fun and eventful moves. Janhvi made his Bollywood debut with Shashank Khaitan's Dhadak, which was a remake of Marathi's super-success, Sairat. In the film, the actress was twinned against Ishaan Khatter. The film worked well at the box office and Janhvi was congratulated for his act.
At work, Janhvi, the daughter of the late Sridevi and Boney Kapoor, is currently working on her next Kargil Girl. The film is based on the life of pilot Gunjan Saxena who helped evacuate wounded Kargil soldiers in 1999.
