The Giants' cornerback's older brother, Janoris Jenkins, is said to have a long rap sheet, which includes several arrests for burglary, drums and drug sales.

William Jenkins, 34, faces a charge of manslaughter following the death of a family friend, Roosevelt Rene, who was found dead in Janoris' New Jersey home on Tuesday.

The ex-detainee spent nearly seven cumulative years behind bars – with his first known arrest in 2002 when he was only 18, according to information obtained by NJ .com.

He was arrested six times after that in both Florida and New York, reports the website.

Senior Jenkins was placed in custody in Ontario, New York, on Tuesday for a parole violation on two drug-related convictions. René's body was found in the basement of his brother's house that same day.

William's longest term in jail came in 2011, after being found guilty of drug possession and drug sales. The former inmate would have served 63 months.

Janoris, who also saw his fair share of controversy, swore in 2016 – after landing with the Giants – that he would not follow the same path as his older brother.

Speaking to The Post, he said, "Some places you go to, some places where you can not show up. I would never be the club guy on the tables who would bring 20 girls to drink bottles. I was not going to be this guy because it is not me. "

The Pro Bowler added, "If I'm at a party and someone is trying to give me something that I do not do or that I do not need, first of all, I I'm going to leave the party. Now I know that when I party with you, I can not drag you to that level, I have to separate. I will tell you no each time, and if you are offended, it is on you.
