Jersey should get more than 70 Cr Collection, but ..

For the kind of critics and critics the film has come across, many are likely to expect Nani's jersey to sink into the 70 or 80 crores club of Tollywood. That's what it says on day 1 of the movie's release, but it seems like things are not so easy for this cricket-centric drama.

So far, Jersey has had over 25% of the box office market share and could reach about 35% in its entirety. But what has made the film so little collector when critics are so excellent? It is the effect of summer, say some people. Although critics watch many movies regardless of the season or festival, the audience enjoys entertaining themselves during the holidays. That's where Jersey's timing did not work.

For example, when viewers are fed NTR and F2 biopic in Sankranthi season, they opt for more entertainment and make Venky-Varun a movie of over 70 crores. This is the reason why Majili, in love and comedy, will probably reap more than Jersey. If this character from Nani had come in other reasons, he would have collected more, say some observers.

For the type of content that Jersey is stuffed with, an additional collection would certainly have made the industry more proud. That said, the movie will be one of the clbadics we have never seen in Tollywood.
