In the latest edition of The Ross Report Podcast (SEScoops), Jim Ross said that he thought Drew McIntyre was the future of the WWE and worthy of his expected match against Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 35 , saying that he was surprised at his WrestleMania Match 35 has not been announced yet.
"I was shocked in a way that McIntyre did not feature higher in the map at WrestleMania," says JR. "He is the future, in many ways."
"I still think he's a great player … He's everything Vince [McMahon] likes," says Ross.
"He is a handsome guy, he is well-muscled, he is in great shape, he works hard, stiff and solid, and he is different."
"I think he is without no doubt one of the essential cogs in the future of WWE. "
