Jon Moxley believes that Triple H's "buy from India" was a mistake

Jox Moxley is separated from the WWE and now works for AEW. He also revealed a lot about what is happening at WWE in an episode of Talk Is Jericho.

Dean Ambrose was one of the first waves of talent that was taken over by the WWE on the independent circuit. WWE continues to recruit Indian talent and Moxley can see how it is different now.

Jon Moxley spoke with 25 Years Later, where he described in detail the tactics of the WWE and explained how bad it was that Triple H started by signing all the wrestlers independent that he could get his hands on.

"I thought it was a bad idea when Hunter started buying India. You had Seth and me, as well as Joey Mercury, and we managed to sneak into some key characters like Luke Harper, Neville and Cesaro. Once I was on the main list and NXT started, which I was not a member of every week, Triple H took an Instagram selfie with an independent guy. I do not know if he was trying to make himself cool and get independent references or what, to make NXT cool. He basically started buying indies. I remember thinking that it may not have been a good idea. So where will all these good ideas come from? If they had signed Daniel Bryan at 21, he would never have become Bryan Danielson and WrestleMania 30 would have never been signed. If they signed Punk before actually becoming CM Punk, he would never have done what he did. If they made me sign at 21, I would never have become good. I had to first develop my skills before being hired.

While the WWE is still trying to recruit as many talent as possible, it is only strengthening the top spot among the competitors of independent companies. The independent circuit continues to develop, it continues to attract new faces that become the pillars of the companies.

"The purchase of the entire independent scene was identical to that of Vince, who was buying all the territories at the time. There is no one left looking for talent. It's amazing that even though they bought independent products, they have repopulated more than ever. Makes you very optimistic about the future of professional wrestling. This is probably the biggest difference between my interview and that of Punk. He basically said f * ck Pro Wrestling, and I said I found my love for the pro fight. I want to fight everyone. Leave all the bridges, gather all the companies and organize a great show that sells a stadium now. F * ck it. "

" The sum of the fight out of the WWE is greater than that of the WWE. I feel like myself, the entire AEW lineup and all the fans are the same team, pursuing the same goal, make the fight fantastic. To not be embarrbaded to tell people that you are a wrestling fan, they would say, "Oh, this show with pet jokes and they get pissed off at each other or whatever the f * ck is go on there ". If you are a wrestling fan and you show some things from the WWE, you will be embarrbaded. You would like to get rid of old VHS tapes to show them why you are a wrestling fan because that's not it. I want people to wear an AEW jersey and somebody say, "Oh, you're a wrestling fan, f * ck yeah, me too." When I stood on that poker chip at the end of Double or Nothing, I did not know when we were on vacation. I stayed up there, but for some reason, I just wanted to make a fictitious victory lap. Safety did not appreciate, but I took a gigantic round to win the win around the arena and I felt like I was with 12,000 teammates. We are all AEW. We have this common bond.

Jox Moxley certainly stands busy with AEW and NJPW. Perhaps this resurgence will lead to the improvement of the professional fight as a whole.
