This image with optimized colors was taken at 13:58. PDT 29 October 2018 (16:58 EDT) as the spacecraft made its 16th close flyby of Jupiter.

At that time, Juno was about 7,400 kilometers (4,000 miles) from the summit of the planet's clouds, at a latitude about 1965 degrees north.

Citizen scientists Gerald Eichstädt and Seán Doran created this image using the JunoCam Imager's data from the probe, as well as their raw images. .
