Junglee, the latest film by actress Vidyut Jammwal, does not make the audience shine. The film reported only 7.7 billion rupees in the two days following its release.
Taran Adarsh, a film badyst, shared the figures on Twitter. Junglee published with Pranutan Bahl and Zaheer Iqbal's notebook, whose business was much worse in two days. According to an article in Box Office India, Notebook would only earn 60 lakh on Friday and another 80 lakh on Saturday, for a total of 1.4 crore Rs in two days.

Junglee opened to lukewarm criticism, many enjoying the film's use of impressive stunts. However, the sad story was a disappointment for most.

Notebook receives an average rating from reviews. Hindustan Times' critique of the film reads: "The two main films that the film was released by Salman Khan almost never read; The romance is nothing remarkable, but the director Nitin Kakkar cleverly uses Kashmir and a crowd of children.
Vidyut says that he plans to create a franchise around Junglee. The actor, who is a qualified martial artist, also said that Indian actors are on par with their Hollywood counterparts in making action sequences that defy death.
"We had Akshay Kumar in the Khiladi series. I did the Commando series. We now have Junglee and we will have a series of Junglee. We do not lack any area of action in relation to them. Indian actors are doing well. Nobody can touch us in the fight because we are doing very well, "Vidyut told PTI during an interview.
