It was a moving moment for actor Ajay Devgn's father, for the funeral of stock director Veeru Devgan in Mumbai. An ocean of big names from Bollywood landed at the actor's residence and among them were actors Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan. It seems like an emotional Kajol has collapsed into tears and that Aishwarya hugged her.
In a clip, while Abhishek stands beside his wife, Aishwarya, Kajol is inconsolable. At one point, Aishwarya hugs her and Kajol cries in her arms. Abhishek pats Kajol as Aishwarya hugs her.

Among the other people who showed up at Ajay's home to pay their respects, were Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Sunny Deol with his brother Bobby, Anil Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor, came with him. father, producer Boney Kapoor, veteran actor Raza Murad, Suniel Shetty and Tusshar Kapoor, among many others.

Veeru suffered from respiratory problems for which he was immediately admitted to Surya Hospital in Santa Cruz. However, his condition became critical and he suffered a cardiac arrest.
Devgan choreographed action scenes in more than 80 films and directed Hindustan Ki Kasam, where his son Ajay played the lead role alongside Amitabh Bachchan. He was also the producer of the film. He has also appeared in two films such as Sar Utha Ke Jiyo, Kranti, Mr. Natwaral and Muqabla, to name a few.
