Tanuja, a Bollywood actor, hospitalized on Wednesday, will undergo surgery for a condition called diverticulitis. Tanuja, 75, was admitted to Lilavati Hospital in the city.
Hospital sources told PTI that the actor would be operated on for diverticulitis, a condition resulting in inflammation or infection of small pockets called diverticula that develop along the walls of the body. ;intestine.

She is the sister of the current late Nutan and the aunt of filmmaker Ayan Mukerji.
