Kalank had a frank Friday as crores of rupees had entered. The collections are a little better than those of Thursday [Rs.11.45 crores] although it is expected to be a partial holiday on Good Friday.
The film has raised up to now Rs 44.65. If we compare this with other plays of the time of 2019, the collections are better than Manikarnika – The Queen of Jhansi [Rs.42.55 crores] but less than Kesari [Rs.56.56 crores].
Kalank saw a mid-week out and this gives him the advantage of two great days at his disposal in the form of Saturday and Sunday. However, we have to see how much the film benefits from this platform at its disposal. At least 25 crores of rupees more in two days would allow this film directed by Abhishek Varman to hit the crore mark of 70 rupees after the extended five-day weekend.
