Reports suggest that filmmakers Shankar and Lyca Productions have had significant budget implications for their upcoming film, Indian 2, starring Kamal Haasan.

Shankar and Lyca Productions occupy a special place in the history of Indian cinema by producing the most expensive film ever made. In the country, they delivered Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar-starrer 2.0, which were made with a gigantic budget of a crore of nearly 543 Rs.
After the 2.0 post, Shankar's is concentrated on his upcoming film Indian 2. For the film, he met with Kamal Haasan after 23 years, it is said that Ind ian 2 is about to be put to the side.
It would appear that Shankar and Lyca Productions have had significant spin-offs with respect to the Indian 2 budget. It is said that the production company reportedly gave Shankar an ultimatum to work within budget. However, Shankar is a director known for having spent a huge amount of films showing his greatness.
It is said that Lyca Productions suffered losses due to 2.0 and they are not able to spend as much. made for Rajinikanth's film. This caused a break between the two parties and Shankar is said to be seeking investors in Telugu and Hindi cinema.
