Kangana Ranaut: Manikarnika's success has progressed significantly for women-oriented films

Following the success of his last outing Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi Joined the Rs 100 crore club, Kangana Ranaut, who also made her directorial debut with the film – says Manikarnika will pave the way for more women-oriented films.

"This was done at 1/3 of the budget of any movie, or even an ordinary commercial film, and we got the cost back, and I'm glad it became a film. "We managed to make a clean film, no one has blamed me for distorting the story. Personally, there is no major controversy here. I do not see any negativity attached to this outside of the industry. I am satisfied with the public response. "
