The actor Kangana Ranaut, of Manikarnika, returned from vacation in Switzerland and was sighted at the airport in a chic and casual setting. Shortly after, the actress and her co-star Ankita Lokhande went to the Bombay Stock Exchange as part of the movie's promotions. While Kangana seemed as royal as her avatar on screen in a silk sari, Ankita was dressed in a simple white dress. According to film trade badyst Taran Adarsh, the film would have raised Rs 64.65 million in the three versions: Hindi, Tamil and Telugu at the national box office.

Kareena Kapoor spoke of rumors that she would play in Dabangg 3 while she was seen with producer-actor Arbaaz Khan. Arbaaz had produced and played alongside brother Salman Khan in both previous episodes of the film and had served as director of Dabanng 2.
