Director Karan Johar organized a special birthday party for his mother, Hiroo Johar, on Monday. The late filmmaker Yash Johar's wife was 76 years old this year and her birthday was celebrated with several of her industry friends, including Jaya Bachchan and Sharmila Tagore, at the party in a Mumbai restaurant.
Jaya was among the first to arrive for the party in a salwar kurta with cream, gray hair remaining open. Salman Khan's mother, Salma, also attended the party and was delightful in a pastel green sharara. The wife of Vetetra actor and television producer Shobha Kapoor and Shammi Kapoor's wife, Nila Devi, were among the other people who joined the Johars during the celebrations.
Host Karan was dressed in casual black and white clothes while his mother, Hiroo, was wearing a green suit. Images of the cake cutting ceremony were shared online and show Karan placing a kiss on her forehead while she stands in front of her lotus-themed cake.
