Karan Johar recently produced one of the biggest blockbusters of Ranveer Singh – "Simmba". Ranveer's latest release, Simmba, was co-produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions. Directed by Rohit Shetty, Simmba also starred Sara Ali Khan. Simmba has made a collection of more than 200 crores of rupees at the box office.

In an interview with India Today, Karan Johar praises Ranveer Singh. The filmmaker said that he loved Ranveer, who is also his favorite person for everything. Karan said that Ranveer was very flamboyant and showed it to the public. Karan called Ranveer his hero and added that his energy strengthened his celebrity. He also said that other actors like Ranbir Kapoor, Varun Dhawan do not have a lot of energy but they are unique in their own way; but they are incredible actors and are really good at the screen.
Karan will soon work with Ranveer Singh in his upcoming film "Takht". The film is a drama of the era and is also performed by Kareena Kapoor Khan, Anil Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar and Janhvi Kapoor.
