Kareena Kapoor Khan will play alongside Irrfan Khan in "Angrezi Medium"; Radhika Madan confirms the news | Hindi movie news

The long-awaited sequel to Irrfan Khan's hit movie "Hindi Medium" has begun to shoot. Titled "Angrezi Medium", the film will mark the return of the actor on the big screen after a short break since he was undergoing treatment after a cancer diagnosis. Irrfan was undergoing treatment in London and returned to Mumbai last month.

It has already been reported that Kareena Kapoor Khan would be starring in the sequel alongside Irrfan Khan. However, neither the decision makers nor Kareena have confirmed the news. In the previous film, Saba Qamar played the lead role alongside Irrfan and their on-screen chemistry was highly appreciated by the audience.

It is interesting to note that Radhika Madan, who plays a pivotal role in the film, confirmed speculations about Kareena in the film. The actress who has already started filming for the film is now turned to Instagram to share a photo of the clapper. Sharing the photo, Radhika said: "As excited as the man behind, so grateful for this new journey. @Irrfan @homster @maddockfilms #kareenakapoork #dineshvijan."

The film will see Irrfan Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan sharing the screen space for the first time. The team is currently shooting the first program in Rajasthan. Radhika Madan will be portrayed in the film with the daughter of Irrfan. The team will then travel to London to shoot further after finishing the first schedule in Rajashtan.

"Angrezi Medium" will be directed by Homi Adajania and will also play the lead role in Deepak Dobriyal. Producer Dinesh Vijan recently said that when Irrfan gave his first shot, everyone on the set was moved.
