Cricket player Irfan Pathan interacted with local players after giving trophies to winning teams and finalists of the cricket tournament organized by Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association here at GGM Science College.
The final match was played between Singh Cricket Club and Khour Cricket Club on Saturday. Khour Cricket Club won the last match and won the tournament trophy.
During the one – month tournament, several teams played games in different districts of Jammu Division.
In his keynote address, the main guest congratulated the tournament organizers and provided a platform for the youth to explore their hidden talent in the field of sports. He said that sports activities help young people channel their energy in a positive direction.
Later, Irfan Pathan interacted with players from different districts of the Jammu Division. The main guest also gave trophies to the winning team and finalist.
The JKCA will also hold a three-day camp for under-23 Ranji likely for selected players from various districts of Jammu Division. About 80 players will participate in the three-day camp.
