Director Zoya Akhtar takes advantage of the success of her film Gully Boy and is currently pursuing her with a successful web series, Made In Heaven. The filmmaker recently hosted a party at her home to celebrate the success of the show.
While Shah Rukh Khan was not attending the party, his wife and entrepreneur, Gauri Khan, was seen during the event in black and white suit. Actress Katrina Kaif also joined Zoya during the celebrations and was the star of the evening in a short white dress.
Among other spectators of Made In Heaven's success was director Karan Johar, who arrived in a colorful flower jacket. Zoya's brother and actor Farhan Akhtar, the actors Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa, the co-producer of Gully Boy, Ritesh Sidhwani and Shweta Bachchan Nanda were also spotted during the evening.
Gully Boy's lead actors, Alia and Ranveer Singh, could not participate in the celebrations, but the remaining cast members, including Siddhant Chaturvedi, Vijay Varma and Kalki Koechlin, joined Zoya at the party.
Made In Heaven aroused the interest of criticism and also pleased viewers. The show revolved around the complicated lives of Arjun Mathur, Sobhita Dhulipala, Kalki, Faiza Naqvi, Jim Sarbh, Shashank Arora and Shivani Raghuvanshi.
Created by Zoya and Reema Kagti of Gold, the series was co-written by Alankrita Shrivastava. Zoya and Alankrita also directed the nine episodes of the series with Nitya Mehra and Prashant Nair.
