The Boston Celtics and the San Antonio Spurs would not have had any fruitful discussions on a possible swap for the discontented swingman Kawhi Leonard.
According to Boston HeraldSteve Bulpett, the Celtics and Spurs had a "brief discussion" on Wednesday that featured "no real negotiation. "
"It was the first contact between the teams since before the draft, but even those talks did not include the C offer," wrote Bulpett. "This brief appeal, according to two league sources, went nowhere."
