Review of Day Three: Taijul Islam claimed 11 wickets to lead Bangladesh's first test against Zimbabwe on Monday, but organizers still need a record-breaking pursuit for winning at Sylhet.Bangladesh returned Zimbabwe for 181 in their second run with Taijul who recorded impressive numbers from 5 to 62.
Taijul's efforts spurred Bangladesh after being taken off cheaply for only 143 in response to the first round of 282 points of tourists.
26-0 against 321 when the bad light stopped play on the third day at Sylhet International Stadium.
The first two players, Liton Das and Imrul Kayes, remained undefeated respectively 14 and 12 while Bangladesh enters the fourth day with another 295 points needed to rewrite the record book.
No team has ever had to run as many points to win a match-test in Bangladesh. The biggest successful home prosecution by Bangladesh was 101 against Zimbabwe in 2014.
