• The Story Behind the Documentary Design: "All of this is arrived a year ago and a change. I received my first message from the producers and the director and they asked me if I would be nice enough to let them into my life and follow me one day in the life of Kenny Omega in Japan. I thought maybe it would be a stranger who would try to succeed in Japan and I had reservations initially because I have some way of living my life in Japan, as I was preparing for my big matches and I was worried that having a shooting crew buzzing around me at any time interrupts my zen, so I first refused them. That's only when they responded much later with a very good email and a detailed explanation of why they chose me as a topic of discussion. I had seen that there was a lot of pbadion behind this project and that these people were familiar with my career and were very interested in telling my story. Of course, they did not know at the time what this story would be like, they just wanted to know how it was in Japan and what my career was all about. I guess in the end, it became the love story of the fight because The meeting with Kota Ibushi was a very big deal for me in 2018 and it was a very busy and memorable event between us two that lasted more than ten years. So, all that is documented in this movie is and I do not know it because I have not seen it yet, it's pretty cool. "
• Do not see the finished product before the first: " Truth Let's be clear, I'm a shy person and for me, for lack of a better term, it's a little embarrbading. I feel (I do not know) strange to be the subject of a documentary. I'm used to fighting with the film crews that follow me, I'm used to fighting style documentaries broadcast on wrestling programs and streaming services, but never a documentary that's an independent documentary of people who do not have a background. not having the experience of the fight somehow tell the story from an outside point of view on the fight. So, I was a little scared to watch that and I did not think I would do it but now this kind of preliminary criticism is coming in and generally, they are all certain that I could sit down and look at it because that there is perhaps nothing to be embarrbaded "
Has his AEW contract prevented him from confronting Okada at G1 Supercard: " I I have no restrictions on what I do as long as I feel it's in my best creative interest, I'm open to everything. But of course, it has to be a two-way street and you have to be two to dance and it's a matter of timing. I was perfectly prepared for the epic showdown at Madison Square Garden and I thought it would be a very cool match to have Okada / Omega at MSG and not because of the building. A building name or location does not mean much to me. I do not have any emotional connection to Madison Square Garden and I know that it is considered the mecca of Sports Entertainment in terms of building, but I just wanted this match to take place on American soil once only . We sort of showed some of our chemistry in the United States during the match we had (Myself and Ibushi versus Okada and Ishii) and we felt good and we felt really amused and the business wise at good time. It does not work as I had planned and we will not get it at Madison Square Garden. But that does not mean that the story is over and the book is closed. We will both be very active in professional wrestling for a number of years, I suppose, and I think there is another opportunity for that and who knows, it might be worth it better wait for that to happen and get that fifth game off the line. "
• The ease of setting up a five-star match: " There is a lot of pressure and, of course, you have to be two to dance the tango, but paradoxically, when I use the word tango, I can describe it. and compare it to maybe ballroom dancing. Where the best dancers in the world can dance in sync with all professionally trained partners. Their body reacts to every contraction of the muscle fiber and it almost becomes an animal reaction and it becomes a reaction and becomes instinctive and I always have it or not, I'm not sure but I realized that I had this skill in 2016 at G1 in my first race in the G1. This is perhaps how I wanted to approach my story in addition to the pbadion that I had and the pride I felt with my own performances were the various components of a gigantic brewing witches who had allowed me to really evolve myself as an interpreter. this gigantic stage of evolution, I have somehow felt that I had pierced the secret of what we could call the five star match. Without seeming too selfish, a five-star match is an easy thing to do with almost everyone. The only time I hesitated in my quest for a five-star match, is when I really went out of their way to try something completely new or something with which I am not familiar or with whom I am 100% comfortable, because I could reuse and recycle the same formula because I know what works, but if I start to do it, I will stop growing and I do not think I have finished my process or my evolution. So, I'm still going to be a little dashing and I'm still going to try new things, but if anyone had a gun in their head and told me to have a five-star match with this guy, it's a bit light at the moment and things pretty easy. "
• To find out if he has any interest for WWE: " For now, no. Zero. Absolutely not. I am 100% focused on what we do with AEW and my interest starts and ends with just the hope of the best for my friends who are there and I hope they are fine, I know that WrestleMania is coming and it's a great show for them and I hope everyone kills it. If everyone is fine, the industry does it well and that's about it all. Of course, and I have already said it and I repeat it, I'm just waiting for the fantastic world that may or may not happen where we will work together someday. "
