The Kerala Police Crime Branch has opened a new investigation into the death of violinist Balabhaskar in a car accident in 2018
The recent arrest of two badociates of the musician by the Tax Revenue Intelligence Branch ( DRI), linked to the smuggling of gold by the international airport, has brought the agency to take a fresh look at the case, according to officials.
The new investigation trajectory targets Prakashan Thampi and Vishnu Somasundaram, both permanent in the Balabhaskar musical circuit.
In a Facebook post, Lakshmi Balabhaskar said that the duo was not the last employee of her husband and that he had not had any commercial agreements with him.
