Directed by Anurag Singh, Kesari is based on the Battle of Saragarhi between the Indian Indian Indian Army A regiment and members of the Afghan tribes in September 1897. The British Indian contingent, consisting of 21 Sikh soldiers, is attacked by about 10,000 Afghans and decides to fight to the death, considered by some as one of the largest peoples in history.

About his experience working on the film, Akshay had already stated, "I started to turn to my film Kesari, where am in the heavier turban and beard that I've ever worn. So I shaved my head to make my life a little easier. I am known to hate wigs, prosthetics, etc., and Kesari is very demanding. It's probably my favorite look, even if it's painful to fight and sweat in this avatar. But I would not change anything in the world. "

The film should be released on March 21st.
