The Sunday episode of Koffee With Karan will certainly not be considered one of the most entertaining episodes of the series, but it was not quite hopeless. Host Karan Johar asked some serious and amusing questions to actor Aamir Khan, who forced him to give mixed answers.
Karan opened the series with another monologue that has no connection with the episode nor with his guest. He explained to his audience that he was afraid to miss (FOMO), while his friend Aditya Chopra was afraid to go out. He said that he wanted to exchange lives with Aditya for two years so that he could also feel what it was like not to worry about what was going on around him.
He then abruptly called his guest for the evening, Aamir, who quite confessed that he was in the series to promote his new film, Thugs of Hindostan. Although he said he found the show interesting, it was not the same for his wandering eyes and his bored expression.

Karan started the conversation by asking Aamir. films and deliberately chooses projects with a social message. Aamir specified that he chooses projects with scripts that interest him. He gave a small introduction to his Thugs character, calling him a man without conscience. He said that with Thugs, it was the first time that he agreed to make a film because he had fallen in love with his character.
Going forward with the conversation, Karan explained to Aamir how well he was known for his progressive nature, even when it concerned his personal life. He explained how Aamir had a cordial relationship with his ex-wife Reena Dutta and how his wife Kiran Rao was also friends with her.
Aamir speaks of Reena with extreme affection. "Reena and I had been married for 16 years and when we broke up, it was traumatic for me and for both of our families. But we tried to take care of it as best we could. That did not mean that I had lost respect for Reena or, in this case, my love for Reena. It's a really wonderful person, "he said.

Asked about their children, Junaid and Ira Interested in the movies, Aamir revealed that Junaid was eager to become an actor or filmmaker. Karan asked him how he would react if his son was not a good actor. Aamir said that he would tell the truth to his son because it would be unfair to the film and the audience he supported his son's career, regardless of his acting abilities or lack thereof .
Perhaps the most interesting part of this episode was the discussion between Karan and Aamir about the # MeToo movement. Karan congratulated Aamir for being the first person to act in this case when he decided to leave Mogul after learning that the film's director, Subhash Kapoor, had been charged with badual harbadment.
Aamir stated that he and Kiran decided not to work with anyone if there was "sufficient reason to doubt that person". When Karan asked him if he was making these decisions based on an intuition, Aamir said that he had no choice.
He also stated that the burden of potentially harming the career of an innocent man was also resting on his heart. "I was aware of Kiran's responsibility and of me. In addition, there were many things. If the person is innocent, I do not know how am I going to live with myself because I would have finished it. I carry this burden and I think about it every night, "he said.

Karan expressed his concern about the upcoming one. name that will appear in the movement and what that would imply, but he feels compelled to support the movement because it's something he believes in. "These voices are necessary and need to be strengthened, because if we are in a privileged position, do not take action then who will. So, I am in a dilemma every day. I wake up anxious because I feel the name of who I am going to read today and what will be the impact on their lives? All I can say, it's a required cleaning. There is a huge positivity to that too. There were people who abused their power, exploited a woman and I think it had to be eradicated and that's what happens, "he said.
Karan then moves to the lighter segment of the series. He asked Aamir to call random people and tell them to watch his movie. The joke fell flat because almost everyone he called believed that it was Aamir 's good.
Then, the host and his guest took "Koffee shots" as part of a game. Aamir revealed that he had cheated in a relationship, Karan revealed that he had fallen out of bed at the same time, Aamir said that he often showered with his wife and that he had never participated in the role play.
For quick fire, Aamir is opposed to Karan himself while Malaika Arora is invited as a judge. She asked him why he had joined social media and he revealed that it was on the insistence of Amitabh Bachchan. She asked him to choose between Shah Rukh Khan or Salman Khan to avoid a shipwreck and to return one from his ship. Aamir chose Shah Rukh because 'bhai doob hi nai sakte'.
Aamir refused to choose between Deepika Padukone and Alia Bhatt as a potential co-star, nor even to choose a young actor who is challenging the stars.
On the occasion of Karan's turn, he chose Kareena Kapoor as his best friend on Twinkle Khannna and on gossip. However, he also denied choosing between his favorite young director whom he sponsored.
In the end, Malaika gave the Koffee Hamper to Aamir for his response on returning Salman from his boat. It was Aamir's first win in the quick shoot round.
