In the 40-second teaser shared on Star World's social networking pages, host Karan Johar points out that few people know that Kartik studies to become an engineer. but leaves to pursue a career in the theater. At this point, Kriti raises his hand and informs Karan that she is also an engineer.
The clip then goes to the quick-fire sequence in which Karan asks Kartik to name it. Kartik responds with AndhaDhun, one of the most acclaimed Hindi films of 2018, directed by Sriram Raghavan and starring Ayushmann Khurrana in the lead role.
In his next question, Karan asks Kartik to reveal, "A lie that can be said without blinking." Kartik responds: "I could have played a better role in AndhaDhun."
Ayushmann has already appeared on Koffee with Karan this season, sharing the couch with Uri star Vicky Kaushal.

The teaser ends with Karan informing a Kart ik shocked that rapper Badshah, on the same couch, said that he found Kartik outdated.
