Kofi Kingston reacts to rumors of a New Day separation

WWE Champion Kofi Kingston recently spoke with TMZ Sports, responding to rumors of a potential New Day split.

Kofi said that New Day is not a typical faction that finally separates and a breakup will never happen.

Since KofiMania took off at the beginning of the year, the WWE Universe has begun to speculate on whether they might witness a possible break-up of New Day.

As WrestleMania approached, the general consensus was that Big E and Xavier Woods could betray Kofi Kingston in the Show of Shows, ideally after his victory.

This did not happen, however, as Kofi Kingston ended up winning. WWE title and received the former WWE title from his New Day colleagues.

The heart of the problem

After the historic victory of Kofi at the biggest stage of all, the rumor has started to revolve, many speculating on an upcoming break. Kofi Kingston finally put an end to these rumors during his conversation with TMZ Sports

The Dynamo Dreadlocked said they did not understand these rumors a bit, adding that the philosophy of The New Day had always been to elevate your brother. Kingston also said that a break would never happen and that the trio would be reunited, whatever that may be.

For us, breaking up would be like doing the opposite of New Day and being content with the standard fare. Just for this aspect, it will not happen. Everything we do, we do it together. The new day is centered on the group, that is how it will happen.

Kofi Kingston is currently at the top of the world, as his decades-long struggle at WWE is finally over. There's no challenger for the new WWE Champion yet, but that could change in the next superstar game.
