Earlier today, in the ongoing debate on pay equity in Bollywood, actresses such as Kriti Sanon and Taapsee Pannu have raised a greater issue of credit parity.

Recently, Kriti Sanon delivered the box office hit "Luka Chuppi". which earned the actress wide recognition. Similarly, Taapsee Pannu and Amitabh Bachchan, "Badla", did very well at the box office.

The actresses were snubbed in a tweet by a media portal, which only credited Amitabh Bachchan and Kartik Aaryan for the successes of "Badla" and "Luka Chuppi".

The actresses therefore expressed their opinion on the unfair system that gives credit only to male films, while the film had an equal or even greater role. Taapsee wrote in Hindi, "इन …. समय :)"

What translates to "The same hard work was devoted to the making of these films by their main actresses too … It looks like you have not had time to mention it." Kriti reacted to Taapsee's tweet by sharing it and writing: "ta @taapsee #ifeelyougirl;)"
