Krushna and Kashmera were secretly tied up in Las Vegas in 2013 after several years of dating. However, they kept their marriage secret until 2015. Asked about it, Kashmera had stated that they did not want to reveal the news because they wanted their marriage to remain a private affair. They welcomed their twin sons in 2017 via a surrogate mother.
At the time of their birth, Krushna had revealed that only Salman Khan was aware of their surrogacy plans and that he was happy for the couple. Kashmera had already told Hindustan Times his 14 unsuccessful attempts at IVF: "Abandoning was not an option. I knew that if I gave up, these children would never be born. So, I decided to keep trying until I did not get pregnant or until I no longer had children in my hand. I would have also exceeded 14 attempts, if it worked for us. "

One of the children was operated shortly after his birth. Citing this as a reason to keep their birth secret just like their marriage, Kashmera had said: "It was emotionally, physically, mentally, psychologically, the worst moment of my life. We could not celebrate the birth of our twins, because at the time of their birth, we discovered in 15 minutes that we had to have surgery. So, despite the fact that we are such a moment of joy, we can not tell anyone. "
