Kurt Angle talks about the future of WWE Monday night

Although Kurt Angle had a solid career as Monday Night Raw's general manager, his ring record since returning to the WWE is mediocre at best. With the latest WWE announcement on Twitter, his loss to Baron Corbin this week is perhaps the last straw that broke the camel's back.

The return of Angle in the ring at WWE was a success, replacing Roman Reigns as a member of the Shield in a TLC game with a three-on-five handicap. He was then part of the winning Survivor Series 2017 team. At WrestleMania 34, he teamed with Ronda Rousey in his debut to defeat Triple H and Stephanie McMahon.

The next two appearances of Angle were contested in Royal Battle matches, his first defeat. The Greatest Royal Rumble, then winning a royal battle to win a place in the World's Best World Championship at WWE Crown Jewel. However, it was at that moment that his luck was going badly. At Crown Jewel, he was defeated by Dolph Ziggler. A few days later, at Raw, he was forced to submit to his submission movement, the lock in his ankle, embarrbaded by the process of Drew McIntyre.

Although he won a victory. during the episode of Raw on December 17 when Baron Corbin was ruthlessly beaten by Bobby Roode, Chad Gable and Apollo Crews, he would take revenge on the WWE Hall of Famer this week. Keeping up with a quick elimination at Royal Rumble with a defeat against the man who replaced him as Raw GM might have been too hard for Angle to bear.

On their Instagram account, WWE revealed that the former WWE Champion would make a huge announcement on Monday night. The former CEO will unveil his future within the company to the WWE universe.

With a record of 0-3 singles since his return, will he announce his retirement?

And then?

Kurt Angle may be preparing his WrestleMania quarrel. After all, we are on the road and it is possible that the Olympic gold medalist is seeking revenge on Baron Corbin or Drew McIntyre. With all the news and rumors about the departure of several superstars, it is possible that the WWE uses it to deepen its story as we progress.
