Lady Gaga was about to prepare for the 2019 Grammy Awards on Sunday afternoon (February 10) when she received the good news that A Star Is Born was continuing her series of ceremony victories.
At the 2019 British Academy Film Awards, Gaga – with director and co-starring Bradley Cooper and Lukas Nelson, who played the role of music consultant in the film – won the award for best original music. Because of the time difference between London, where her BAFTA win was announced, and Los Angeles, where she had just started her day, Gaga was relaxing in a casual attire inspired by David Bowie when she received the new.
She shared a photo. "I can not believe we just won the best original music @ BAFTA," she wrote.
"I would have loved to be there but I will show them our love also to Grammy."
