Lady Gaga, superstar of pop music and Oscar nominee, is separated from her fiance, her second relationship broken in three years.
A 32-year-old representative of Gaga confirmed Tuesday that the famous singer "Shallow" and Christian Carino, who is also his artistic agent, had ended their engagement, without giving details.
"It just did not work. Relations sometimes end, "an unidentified source told People magazine. "There is no long dramatic story."
The news of the split came a few days before Sunday's Oscars. Gaga is a best actress nominated for her role in the musical novel "A star is born".

The singer will perform "Shallow" from the TV show "One Star is Born" at the Oscars, considered a favorite to win the Oscar for Best Song original.
Gaga announces in October that she and Carino are engaged. They began dating in February 2017, a few months after the end of her five-year relationship with Taylor Kinney, a Chicago Fire actor.
Gaga and Carino had come close when they attended the Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild Awards in Los Angeles. in January, but fans noticed that she was not wearing her big engagement ring when she sang at the Grammy Awards on February 10th.
