Game of Thrones: The final season will open on April 14th. Are you ready?
Here's good news for all "Game of Thrones" (GoT) viewers. The eighth and final season of this world-renowned series is scheduled to air on April 14, 2019 on HBO. Over the years, GoT has not only been the favorite of television series, but hypnotized viewers by its characterization, filmography and not to mention special effects (FX).
More than 30 million viewers watched the previous or the seventh season of GoT worldwide, making it the most-watched television series.
The last season should reunite everyone, including characters who have not seen each other since the first episode, to fight the king of the night, warlord of the underworld with his dead army of one power of more than one lakh.
With its plot full of intrigue and its dark tone in a fantastic setting of magic and dragons, Game of Thrones was acclaimed by the critics, especially for the play of its complex characters, its scenario, its scenario, its range, and production values. However, the frequent use of nudity and violence, including badual violence, has been criticized. This subsidized, especially from season 6.
What I liked in the GoT series, it's a fixed schedule, especially in number of episodes. The first seasons of GoT have 10 episodes per season, which have now decreased. I wish we could have the same number of episodes on Indian television, as well as new stories that spare viewers from the family's epic dramas.
The last season, entitled "The Battle of Winterfell", will have only six episodes, the first four of which will last one hour and 20 minutes. The latest episode of this epic drama airs on May 19, 2019. 'The Battle of Winterfell' is directed by Miguel Sapochnik, the director of 'Battle of the Bastards', for which he won the Emmy Award.
Originally released on April 17, 2011, Game of Thrones is a fantastic American television television series designed by David Benioff and DB Weiss. It is an adaptation of "A Song of Ice and Fire" by George RR Martin, a series of fantasy novels, the first of which is "A Game of Thrones".
Located on the fictional continents of Westeros and Essos, Game of Thrones features several intrigues and a large distribution, but it basically follows three historical arches.
The first arc concerns the iron throne of the seven kingdoms and follows a network of alliances and conflicts between the noble dynasties, either to claim the throne or to obtain independence.
The second narrative focuses on the last descendant of the fallen ruling dynasty of the kingdom, who was exiled and plans a return to the throne.
The third floor follows night watch, a long-standing brotherhood charged with defending the kingdom from the ancient threats of ferocious people and legendary creatures that lie just north of The Wall, and an imminent winter that threatens the kingdom .
It is not surprising that the GoT has one of the largest contingents of actors. The third season of GoT had an overall cast of 257 actors. Many actors received higher payments during negotiations over the seasons. In fact, five of GoT's main characters would have received $ 2 million per episode in the past two seasons, making them the highest-paid actors on television.
GoT was shot primarily at Paint Hall Studios in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Outdoor scenes from Northern Ireland were shot at Sandy Brae, Morne Mountains (replacing Vaes Dothrak), Castle Ward (Winterfell), Winterfell Godswood (Saintfield Estates), Tollymore Forest (outdoor scenes), in Cairncastle (execution site), Magheramorne Quarry (Black Castle) and Shane Castle (Tournament Field). Doune Castle in Stirling, Scotland, was also used in the original pilot episode for the Winterfell scenes.
Not only is FX, the stunts of the entire GoT series (so far) have stunned viewers and many of them have become epic moments. HBO hired British companies BlueBolt and Irish Screen Scene for the first season. For the following season, Pixomondo, based in Germany, became the leading producer of visual effects with an appropriate stage production from Peanut FX, based in the UK, of Spin VFX, based in Canada, and Gradient Effects, based in the United States. For the fourth season, HBO added the German company Mackevision to the project, which collaborated with the Canadian company Rodeo FX, the German company Scanline VFX and the American company BAKED FX.
While all viewers were fascinated by the beautiful images of teenage dragons during the fourth season, the effects were actually largely based on a chicken!
Fifth season, HBO added Image Engine, Canada, and Crazy Horse Effects, in the US, to its list of leading visual effects producers.
Over the years, Game of Thrones has received 47 Primetime Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Drama Series in 2015, 2016 and 2018, more than any other primetime scripted TV series. His other awards and nominations include three Hugo Awards for Best Drama Presentation (2012-2014), a 2011 Peabody Award and five Golden Globe Award nominations for Best Dramatic TV Series (2012 and 2015-2018).
Even actors such as Peter Dinklage have won three Primetime Emmy Awards for supporting roles in a drama series (2011, 2015 and 2018) and the Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Movie (2012) for his performance as Tyrion Lannister in GoT. Others, such as Lena Headey, Emilia Clarke, Harington Kit, Maisie Williams, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Diana Rigg and Max von Sydow have also received nominations for the Primetime Emmy Awards for their performances.
With so much effort in producing this fantastic epic, nothing surprising that GoT is one of the most hacked TV series. According to the TorrentFreak file sharing news site, Game of Thrones is the most hacked television series since 2012, six years in a row. In 2015, Guinness World Records called Game of Thrones the most pirated television program.
Over the years and seven seasons, more and more viewers around the world have watched Game of Thrones. For the first season, the average number of viewers was 2.5 million. That climbed to 11.6 million, and 14.2 million in second and third season. For the fourth season, the average gross audience was 18.4 million euros, surpbading the record created by 'The Sopranos'. The fifth and sixth seasons of GoT had an average audience of more than 25 million per episode. The seventh season saw this number reach more than 30 million, says a Wikipedia record.
The question is what after the last season of GoT?
