The PSLV-CA (Core Alone) version, 44.4 meters high and weighing about 230 tons, took off at 9:58 am from the first launch deck, spitting a thick orange flame.
The PSLV rocket – a four-stage launcher with alternating stages / solid and liquid engines – bore the HysIS of 380 kg and another 30 weighing 261.5 kg together.
According to the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), the entire mission will be completed in about 112 minutes after the rocket takes off.

Sixteen minutes after the start of the flight, the fourth stage / engine of the rocket will be extinguished.
Just over 17 minutes into the flight, the PSLV rocket will place the five-year HysIS satellite into a 636-kilometer polar-sun synchronous orbit.
After that, the rocket will be reduced to an altitude of less than 503 km by 642 km.
After the HysIS ejection, the fourth stage of the rocket will resume at 59.65 minutes after takeoff. Later, the engine will be turned off and on twice before the last pbadenger is put into orbit about 112.79 minutes after the rocket takes off.
In January, ISRO had been on a satellite mission for more than two hours.
The main goal of HysIS is to study the Earth's surface in visible infrared regions, near infrared and shortwave electromagnetic spectrum. It will also be used for strategic purposes.
HysIS pbadengers include a microphone and 29 nano satellites from eight different countries. All these satellites will be placed in a 504 km orbit.
While 23 satellites come from the United States, the rest come from Australia, Canada, Colombia, Finland, Malaysia, the Netherlands and Spain.
The launch of these satellites through a commercial contract went through Antrix Corporation Limited, the commercial arm of ISRO.
