According to an exclusive feature of the Hollywood Reporter website, Legendary Entertainment has already begun its work on a detective suite Pikachu
The company reportedly hired Oren Uziel to write the script of the sequel, but his approach to the sequel was not revealed. Uziel had previously worked on films such as 22 Jump Street and The Cloverfield Paradox and was also responsible for the imminent real-time adaptation of Sonic the Hedgehog to CGI.
This news follows the rumors last weekend on Legendary. plans to expand the Pokémon film universe with other films, including a live CGI movie based on the original Game Boy video games.
