Liam Neeson's language was ugly, but the real violence that caused it was also

NOTICE: Liam Neeson has already done so. He can never be friendly in the future, except by racists and white supremacists. He can never be forgiven because what he has done is a case of murder. What he says he's contemplated. For a week, 40 years ago. And did not do it.

Neeson's scenario is simply about an imaginary black man who raped one of his friends and described it as a "black bastard" when speaking at a younger age.

This is not the time to say such truths or remember them. language. This guilty memory should have been revealed only in the confessional. Race relations are too volatile, especially in America.

As for Northam, he was completely insane and embarrbaded for the viewer as he writhed in search of an exonerating angle. He was either the whiteface whitey in the page of his 1984 medical school yearbook, or the whitey in Klansman dress. Denial is futile. Anyway, he was silly.

And the medical school that published the page? What excuse possible?

This must be disconcerting for an actor who spends his life playing the vengeful avenger of the entertainment of a world who enjoys watching actors do what few people do in life real, but many would like to be able to do it. Clint Eastwood does it for the octogenarians who believe that they are still so loving. Tom Cruise does it for small people. And Neeson does it for angry guys who would love to use violence but have more sense.

Action movies are a social safety valve that puts an unfair world into imaginary rights. It's a mistake to make reality play, as Neeson did when he wanted to explain it. The actors are always asked where they gather the emotions played that give the impression that the movies are the truth. They usually manage to use their imagination and Neeson would always be on the lists if he had done it. He told a true story. Foolish. Fiction is its territory

The event on the red carpet of the new version of Neeson, Cold Pursuit has now been canceled, at the time of writing, but not the first.

"It was horrible, horrible, to have done," says Neeson of his past. But who cares? To make matters worse, he spoke of #MeToo as a "witch hunt" and referred to "primordial impulses" in the context of revenge.

Who has not dreamed of revenge yet? Revenge is the business of tragedies – and action movies – for a reason. Who imagines that human beings do not have "primal drives" including aggression to defend themselves or people we care about?

The language used by Neeson was ugly, but rape too was real. We are moving in a strange direction when we deplore violent language more than the violence that caused it. Neeson grew up in the middle of sectarian violence in Northern Ireland, a context rather than an excuse for the young man that he was. Few of us have made any mistakes when we were young. I would like to hear comments from these very pure how they arrived at perfection.
