Welcome to the live coverage of SmackDown Live by Ringside News. This is the first show after the Royal Rumble, but there is still a long way to go. Keep cooling off throughout the show for constant updates.
This is the first show after Becky Lynch won her match against WrestleMania against Ronda Rousey. It will be interesting to see how Lynch will interact with the blue team after calling the RAW female champion.
Shane McMahon and The Miz left Phoenix as team champions of SmackDown. So we're going to have a big party for them tonight as well. It should be fun.
What is not so amusing is that Rusev loses the US title to Shinsuke Nakamura. It will certainly look for a form of retribution, the only question is whether the WWE will let him try his luck in Nakamura.
Asuka needs a challenger, so we can expect someone to follow suit as well. Since Becky Lynch decided not to want Asuka anymore, it's likely everyone can prove he's ready for Asuka.
Moreover, Daniel Bryan is apparently a kind of cult leader. After returning from Erick Rowan to help Bryan knock down AJ Styles at the Royal Rumble event, you never know what he might be for The Planet's champion.
