Bankura (West Bengal) [India] May 26 (ANI): An earthquake of magnitude 4.8 on the Richter scale rocked Bankura district in Bengal on Sunday morning. Western, announced the Indian Meteorology Department.
: 39 hours and shocks were also felt in neighboring states.
No casualties have been reported so far.
Previously, two medium intensity earthquakes measuring 5.0 and 4.8 on the Richter scale hit the Andaman and Nicobar Islands region early on Saturday. (ANI)
