The teaser of Telugu Maharshi's next action drama, superstar Mahesh Babu, was unveiled on Saturday, on Ugadi's special occasion amidst high expectations. The short video presents the character of Mahesh, Rishi, and we see him getting off a helicopter. He is fully dressed and we see that he has an entourage. Mahesh Babu tweeted the teaser and wrote: "Here is RISHI for you … I wish you all a happy Ugadi # JoinRishi #Maharshihttps: //youtu.be/eQraxc7QbU8."

. We see him answering questions in what appears to be a meeting with the press. He asked if his success had come to an end and Rishi said that there was no complete stop in success, but only commas. Then comes dialogue – success is not a destination, but a journey – in Mahesh's inimitable style of dialogue. In the next shot, we see him running in a corridor. We do not understand why, but just badume that Mahesh can make India proud if he shows up at the Olympics. Shot on another plane and we see Rishi telling someone that when he tells her that he is about to lose, he proves them the opposite by winning. Mahesh's plans will follow, sending thugs flying in slow motion.
Directed by Vamshi Paidipally, Maharshi also plays the lead role of Pooja Hegde and Allari Naresh.
The film was originally scheduled to air on April 25. Last month, producer Dil Raju confirmed that the release was postponed to May 9th. He had revealed that the reason for the postponement was a post-production job that was taking longer than expected.
Maharshi, jointly produced by Dil Raju, Ashwini Dutt and PVP Cinema, has music by Devi Sri Prasad.
