One of the best-selling cars in India, Maruti Swift is now listed in the record books. Maruti Suzuki India revealed that the Swift has now entered a new car league in India – exceeding the 2 million mark of sales. Maruti Swift sales in India surpbaded 20 lakhs earlier in the day. Sales continued to grow over the years. And with the launch of the new Swift generation, sales are higher than ever. So much so that Maruti Suzuki had to increase its production capacity to meet the growing demand of its customers.

New Maruti Swift is based on Heartect Platform. This allowed the hatch to be larger than before, thus giving more space in the cabin to the pbadengers. Security has also been strengthened from the start. In accordance with Global NCAP, Maruti Swift has been awarded two security stars.
Offered with a choice of petrol and diesel engines, the price of Maruti Swift ranges from Rp 4.99 to 7.76 lakhs for gasoline and Rp 5.99 rupees for the diesel variant. It rivals the likes of Hyundai Grand i10 in India.
