Deepika Padukone will play a stimulating role by intervening in the skin of a survivor of an attack with acid. Last year, she tweeted "A Tale of Trauma and Triumphs and an Indomitable Human Spirit".
While Deepika plays the role of the survivor of the acid attack, Vikrant Mbadey tests the character of Laxmi's partner in real life, Alok Dixit, who is the founder of the Stop Acid campaign Attacks. The comedian Padmaavat will also co-produce the film.
