Melania Trump's Christmas decorations are too sinister for Twitter

[ad_1]

Melania Trump's Christmas decorations last year and this year scared Twitter.

They seem to have trouble understanding. Last year, images of the White House decorated for Christmas, with decorations selected by the first American lady, Melania Trump, became viral to look too scary. This year, Twitter literally sees red. Melania Trump shared a video on Monday that shows what the White House will look like this holiday season. However, the red Christmas trees chosen for the Christmas theme "American Treasures" have thrilled many Twitter users.

In a statement, the White House explained the red motive: "The choice of red is a extension of the blades or stripes found in the presidential seal designed by our founding fathers. It is a symbol of courage and bravery. "

For many, however, the red trees seemed too sinister to resemble those of Christ.

I understood it. This first lady is an elaborate audition for a series of films "White House Christmas Horror" in which Melania wants to play after she no longer is Mrs. Trump. pic.twitter.com/J7Pobe6MZd

The Be Best ornament used in Christmas decorations also elicited some comments. Be Best is an awareness campaign led by Melania Trump focused on the well-being of young people and the fight against cyberbullying and drug use.

Two things I had never seen before at the White House (or anywhere else): Red Christmas trees and Ornaments "Be Best". https://t.co/PaUta9BVEj

Last year also, the Christmas decor of Melania Trump has caused ridicule on social media. Photos of icy Christmas trees lining a strangely illuminated pbadage became viral on social media and inspired a ton of memes and jokes.
